An integral part of your day

Whether you realize it or not, we’ve been part of your day. Nuclear power supplied a portion of the electricity that brewed your morning coffee, computer tomography scanned your luggage at the airport, and health physicists ensured the x-ray machine at your doctor's office was safe to use.

Founded in 1959, we are today a top-ranked program in the nation. Our more than 1,000 alumni live and work in 12 countries, driving the future of nuclear science through engineering, health physics, and medical physics.
