Biography

At Oregon State since 2018.

Tianyi Chen has a wide range of research interests in nuclear materials. Current research includes applying the combined techniques of irradiation, microstructure analysis, multiscale mechanical testing, and molecular dynamics simulations to materials research and development.

Prior to Oregon State, Chen was a postdoctoral research associate in the Nuclear Materials Science and Technology Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
